Neverland | 36x36 Acrylic
This painting is more about a feeling than a literal translation of a “thing”. A trip to Las Vegas with all of it’s debauchery; standing on the rim of the Grand Canyon, an immense gorge cut through hundreds of feet of rock; the visible high water mark of Meade Lake (made by the Hoover Dam on the Colorado River) showing how much water is being sucked up by building such a city in a desert, thoughts of Peter Pan flying out over the land, all swirling around to create this visual that I could only call “Neverland” with its double meaning.
Acrylic/skins.
